Software Test Lead
The Software Test Lead must possess good testing skills and solid experience in software testing projects. Good understand of quality process is very much needed for this job. Familiar with and experienced with Test Driven Development or defining test scenarios up-front during the analysis cycle is desirable.
What will you do
- Create and manage test plans
- Test Team management
- recruitment and training of team members
- sub task allocation in projects
- Test Status Tracking
- Client communication and Reporting
- Create test labs, test scenarios and test cases
- Effort Estimation & Risk Identification
- Detailed Analysis of requirements to identify gaps or conflicting requirements
- Issue Debugging and support to development team
- Mentor junior engineers on preparing test cases and test execution
- Troubleshooting of issues for project
- Research and assist with creation of test frameworks and/or test automation
- Evolving test strategies and decision making
- Performing Tools Evaluation
- Independently work with Business Analysts and client teams
- Root cause analysis techniques – important to understand source of issues or patterns
- Familiarity and experience with various types of testing (functional, acceptance, browser, load, performance)
- Adapting process to business needs
- Exposed to work in multiple business domains
- White box testing capabilities
- Grounded in Agile /Lean methodologies preferably using SCRUM
Requirements: Skills / Experience
- BE / B.Tech / MCA
- 5~8 Years experience in software coding and testing
- Age group: 26 ~ 34 years
- Experience in various development and testing projects
- Proven track record of timely and quality delivery for International clients
- Very good written and technical communication
- Passionate about QA, software testing and its role in software development
- Strong analytical as well as technical skills
- Strong presentation skills and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of various testing concepts and models as well as development life cycle
- Knowledge of test designing concepts
- Responsible for overall delivery of quality products
